Chefle Privacy Notice

Chefle is a static daily food guessing game. It does not use accounts, sign-in, comments, payments, or email signup in the app code.

Data Stored In Your Browser

Chefle stores game progress, stats, settings, and trusted-time information in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device unless your browser, device backup, website host, or Squarespace setup handles it separately.

Network Requests

The game may make a same-site HEAD request to the hosted page to read the server time from response headers. The static host and Squarespace may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, request time, cookies, or access logs.

Sharing

If you use the share or copy feature, Chefle asks your browser to copy or share the result text. The app does not send that result to a Chefle server.

Clearing Data

You can clear Chefle's stored game data by clearing site data for the hosted Chefle page in your browser settings.

Hosting Notice

If Chefle is embedded on a Squarespace page, Squarespace's privacy and cookie settings may also apply to visitors.

Advertising

Chefle may load third-party advertising code on the game page. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers for ad delivery, fraud prevention, measurement, frequency capping, and personalization where allowed by law and visitor consent.

For visitors in regions where consent is required, the site owner should configure consent handling before serving advertising code.
